IP Partial Transit
Simwood Partial IP Transit enables service providers to use our peering routes rather than manage the cost and complexity of establishing their own.
We are members of both LONAP, LINX and other exchanges with extensive international peering relationships on all. We also maintain extensive private peelings, specifically in the VoIP sector.
Simwood PoPs are fully routed not merely remote switches to access customers. Our backbone is MPLS running on Brocade NetIron equipment. The combination ensures that your traffic will always take the optimal path across the Simwood network and that path will self-heal in the event of a link outage.
The Simwood network also offers solid IPv6 support using a Brocade dual-stack. The network is 100% IPv6 enabled and transit products can be offered in native IPv6, or more commonly native IPv4 or dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6.
All transit products can enjoy the protection of our DDoS Security solution.

BGP Delivery
When using BGP your routers will be sent a full Internet routing table (a default route may also be originated if required) and your announced address space will be announced to all peers and upstream providers. We support an extensive set of community strings to distinguish the origin of routes we send to you and enable your own route selection.
