Call Centre

Our call centre customers expect the highest levels of uptime, reliability and customer service and we certainly deliver. Beyond that, we offer excellent rates for all inbound and outbound services with no premium for call centre usage. Below we outline a few common solutions provided to our Call Centre customers.

Non-geographic numbers

We offer the full portfolio of non-geographic numbers from 0800 (UK toll-free / freephone) through 0845 to 0871. These are generally available at little or no rental charge with onward call delivery charged at our competitive wholesale rates. Calls can be delivered to VoIP (SIP) or any PSTN destination worldwide with intelligent routing as standard and virtually no constraints on volume (subject to a traffic forecast). 'Gold' numbers are available in all ranges.

Geographic numbers / DDIs / DIDs

We offer 'real' phone numbers of the type normally associated with land-lines but with no relation to the line. Calls are delivered onto our network from our carrier interconnects and then routed as you prefer. This can be to any VoIP (SIP) or PSTN destination worldwide which can be changed on-demand or have intelligent routing logic applied. Numbers are available in any locality within the UK but at no point are you dependent on a local presence or line installation there - calls can be switched overseas or to a central location as required. These are also a cost-effective solution if you have non-portable non-geographic numbers with another provider where you have a requirement to switch traffic to an overseas centre.

Porting

If you have existing UK numbers (including non-geographic) from BT or a BT reseller (ask us if in doubt), we can 'port' your number(s) onto the Simwood network. You keep the number but have the full capabilities described above.

A-Z termination

Sites globally can make calls via the Simwood network to yield substantial savings. Customers with VoIP (SIP) capable equipment can interconnect with us by direct connection to one of our PoPs or, subject to adequate connectivity, over the open Internet. UK based customers without VoIP capability may simply programme our prefix into their PBX to bypass their line provider and route calls directly to us as desired.
