Inbound Voice - UK Geographic Numbers (DDI / DID)
We offer UK nation-wide coverage of geographic (DDI/DID) numbers. These are mostly our own primary allocations from OFCOM, over our BT interconnect, minimising risk and cost to you.
Many people think of numbers as lines, i.e. you get a number with a line so you must have a line with a number. We don't provide lines and don't require a physical connection at all to our customers so a customer in New York can have a London 020 phone number. Calls are delivered over VoIP (SIP) or forwarded to any PSTN number worldwide.
Our geographic DDI/DID numbers have a nominal industry-beating set-up (zero setup if you use our API) and rental charge which unambiguously decreases based on the total number of DDIs/DIDs on your account. We do not charge for incoming calls delivered to SIP and termination to PSTN is only charged as used. Incoming channel usage (number of concurrent calls) is only limited for engineering reasons and can be increased indefinitely at no cost! For something extra-special, Gold Numbers are available in most prefixes for a one-off fee according to the number's value.
All numbers fully support our fax-to-email or unique fax-to-API service, voicemail-to-email, and selected ranges support incoming SMS from UK networks. These add-ons are available at no charge and can all be configured through our API.
